    (989) 831-0846 Live call recorded 29 May 2015 ("Microsoft refund department..." ) Microsoft India refund SCAMCaller ID: "Not Available [12009]"They called me on 27 February 2015 and I toyed with them, now they're giving me the opportunity to do so, again! Heavy India accent calling to inform me that I'm due a refund from a past dealing with Microsoft. (I should be so lucky, he he)I tried to put them on HOLD as often as possible (I actually didn't have a HOLD button so I just MUTEd my phone to simulate, but without HOLD music). He had me start the Microsoft RUN box to enter TeamViewer and I knew immediately he was trying to access and take control of my computer. After putting him on HOLD again and again he asked me what I was doing and "what do you see?" and I finally started to sing the old Alan Sherman "I See Bones" lyrics from an early 1960s album "My Son The Nut"...the doctor was looking at the X-ray and I asked him, 'what do you see...'" and he finally hung up on me.Following is a partial transcript of the beginning of this scam call:me: Hello? Hello?they: Hello? Yeah hi, this is Mark Robin calling from Windows refund department to refund back your money. How are you today?me: I am just fine, thank you.they: Well sir, I [unintelligible] this call is about your refund mondy. Do you remember you paid some money for the computer servies?me: Uh, I did a while ago.they: Yeah, dat money, we are, we are going to refund you back because we can not provide you that extra services with the computer, ok, we are experiencing some technical problem in our server dats why our company decided to refund back your money...He then went on to direct me to log into a TeamViewer session so he could hijack my computer. I pretended to follow his instructions but paused frequently to take another call and put him on HOLD. He finally disconnected when I started to sing to him, 14 minutes into this scam call. Thanks to Google Voice ( www.google.com/voice ) you can hear this recorded call on my Spam Calls web page: home.comcast.net/~achx88a/spam/spamcalls.htm Signup for your own free Google Voice account at www.google.com/voice and avoid telephone call spam
