- The name may be fake and I report this as a under age child scam. I met the person on okcupid, you cannot be anything below 18 on that website. So we talk they ask for my number and I gave it to them ( I also noticed they deleted there profile afterwards). We start texting, they ask my age I said 18 just like in my profile says, then we text more and she started sending revealing pictures and asking me to do the same but I said no, then they disappeared for like 2-3 days so I deleted it cause of that, and they send another pic then disappear again for like a week. I get a call from her and here a man start talking so I hang up and deleted the whole contact, they text back like 1-2 weeks later and showing me some website about how I can go to jail for this all that so I call three times he answer he started talking about how they got her phone and saw are messages and the wife wanted to go straight to a detective but he wanted to talk to me and see what type of person I am. So he started talking bout how he got very powerful friends and that this can end up all over media trying to make me fear more than I already use IG. Then he said " how bout you pay 200 and Natosha pays the rest" and I was like i don't know if I have that type of money right now and then he started threatening me about he can go to the police or we can handle this like man so I'm sitting here scared out of my mind not thinking straight was starting to agree with him. And it felt like he was rushing me to do it and I'm just asking for time. Then I searched up this situation on the internet and it seemed that a lot of people have been getting scammed with this same problem, and I noticed on the website that he says son a lot with a southern accent and is from somewhere in Carolina ( probably south Carolina). and I realized that he would go to jail to for blackmail and his daughter would go just for taking and sending the pics. So he text me talking bout do you have the funds and all that. I asked him some questions like where he lives and before he said aurora but the number says south Carolina and he didn't answer that this time, and I asked was he in the military because the girl said that her father was in the military so she travel with him every and he said and I was like natosha said you was in the military tho and he said no her father is I'm the step father, and I asked his name I searched it up couldn't find it anywhere so I called him and said you know a scam of this magnitude can get you a life time in prison and he was like aw you think this a scam?! I'll show you that this is very much real!! See you in court! And I haven't heard from him yet and the website say that he may or may not call as a detective. But he might not because I told him about the website as well. And yea that's why I say this is a scam.
