Also calls asking for "Your Controller"; a Controller is the job title for someone who directs financial activities, such as planning, procurement, and investments, for all or part of an organization. She (woman with a French accent according to one report) claims they are trying to send your organization a check for $19,000.00, and she is trying to "innocently" dangle a big check over you to bait you into scamming her, but it's totally fake and they do this to get you to give out your account information over the phone. People who fall for this, think they are scamming her by pretending to be the "Controller" or pretending to work for the "Controller."
