  • Post by Guest,
I have been receiving calls from this number lately so I finally answered. It's obviously a scam. The guy gave me a case number, a phone number (for New Jersey), and brief information. He wouldn't go into detail about a complaint that supposedly filed against my son in law unless I gave HIM his social security number. At that moment, I told the guy how bogus this sounds. He got firm and said, "If _____ doesn't call this number by noon today, it goes back to the court house and that time a warrant will be issued for his arrest." I said I'll give him this information but we'll be verifying all of this with our local court house. The guy was trying to come up with excuses as to why it won't be there and the more he talked, the more bogus he sounded. So yes, it is absolutely BOGUS.
