- They stated the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and I had to call back immediately. When I called a person from a very loud India call center answered immediately. I asked for his badge number and he gave me random letters and numbers. I asked where he was located. He said "right now we are in Washington DC." like the IRS is only there and going to move??? I asked him again if he was the IRS. He acted like he couldn't hear me. asked if I could hear him. I did not say yes. I asked again what company he was with. He hung up. I do not believe this is the IRS. I have previously called the IRS and never had an immediate answer. Also, when they do answer they give their name and ID number
