- I received a call from this number at 6:25 am. It woke us up out ofa sound sleep. They said that they were Windows Tech Supportand they detected someone trying to break into my computer andif I would go up to my computer, they would walk me thru what Ineeded to do to stop it. I said I would take their name, call-backnumber, and Ref # and call them back after I could check themout. The person said that they would put their "senior supervisor"on the line to give me that information. Sooooooo, someone getson the call and provides the info "Alex Bell, 302 669 9061 Ref # RECO065".I then said that I do not use Windows OS and then they hung up.
